Nestled on the outskirts of Daegu, Mount Biseul (Biseulsan) is a hidden gem that offers a perfect escape for nature lovers and adventurers alike. Known for its serene beauty and unique landscapes, the mountain changes its charm with every season.
With convenient access via an electric shuttle bus and well-maintained trails, Mount Biseul is a destination not to be missed. Let me guide you through everything you need to know to make your trip to this stunning mountain a memorable one.
How to get there from Windmill House
1. Metro, Bus, and Taxi (Most Economical Option)
Step 1: Take the subway from Duryu Station (the nearest metro station to Windmill House).
Step 2: Get off at Jukjeon Station and exit via Exit 1.
Step 3: Walk 50 meters straight from Exit 1 to find the bus stop.
Step 4: Take Bus No. 급행 8 (Geuphaeng 8) and ride until the Yuga-eup Office Stop.
Step 5: From Yuga-eup Office, take a taxi to the Mount Biseul parking lot, which should cost around KRW 5,000.
This route is perfect for budget travelers and gives you a chance to explore the local transport system.
2. Taxi (Fast and Convenient Option)
If you prefer a quicker and more comfortable ride, taking a taxi directly from Windmill House to Mount Biseul’s parking lot is the best option. The ride will cost approximately KRW 25,000, depending on traffic.
Tip: Use Kakao Taxi, a popular and user-friendly taxi-hailing app in South Korea, to easily call a taxi. There is an option to pay to the driver directly if you don't want to add your credit card on the app.
You will see a banner like below that says "Way to the Ticket Office." Just follow it and go down the path.
